WHAT IT IS
A written statement, often called an “I am alive” declaration, confirming that you are alive on a given date.
WHEN YOU NEED IT
When a bank, insurer, court or other authority asks for one. It is not interchangeable with a Life Certificate unless the authority accepts it.
